She is one of the main characters in Love_Live!_School_Idol_Project Her portrayal in the music videos is different from the anime. In the videos she is part of Muse and good friends with the others. In the anime, she is part of the Otonokizaka student council and like Honoka, she wants to save the school from closing down. However, she strongly rejects Honoka's solution of forming a school idol group in order to attract more prospective students. Even as Honoka's idol group Muse rises in popularity and the group demonstrates their commitment to idol singing, Eli continues to oppose them giving the members the impression that Eli has some sort of grudge against them. Her serious and aloof demeanor only make her seem more arrogant in their eyes. Eli was also a ballerina dancer in her youth, but never became a professional no matter how hard she tried. Despite failing to accomplish this goal, she is still more experienced and skilled at dancing than the other Muse members and initially regards them as amateurs. Eli's friend and the vice president Nozomi, however, recognizes that Eli's feelings towards Muse are more complicated than they seem. Nozomi suggests to Eli that she should do what she personally wants, much like what Honoka and the other Muse girls are doing. The combination of this piece of advice and the friendly encouragement of Muse convinces Eli to relent and join Muse herself. After she joins Muse, Eli becomes considerably happier and friendlier. She is one quarter Russian, which is why she has blonde hair and blue eyes. She often exclaims the Russian expression, "хорошо!" Older sister of ayase_arisa She is voiced by Nanjou_Yoshino.
