Im typing this because something crossed my mind that pokemon didn't feel the same ever since za came into the picture, now i know there's people that like za but something about it felt off. As if it's atmosphere felt more realistic compared to the rest of the pokemon games.

Y/X was the beginning of the end for me. I really liked Moon/Sun after but that was more like a exception to the rule from then out.

Pokémon had a noticeable decline after Generation 5, with each generation after that either having minimal amounts of effort put into it just to score quick buck off their dwindling fanbase, or just having them reuse the same god-damned graphics in other games, as ZA has the exact same graphics as Scarlet and Violet have but somehow much, much worse graphics then what SV had which makes me think that they were trying to revisit the Graphics used in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl but stopped halfway through the programming but forgot to remove it.

Either way, with the situation that Nintendo has found themselves in after going up against Palworld, and with their increased prices for consoles, games, stuff for games and memberships to play an emulator of something like the N64, alongside their hostility towards people trying to create fan games just to show their appreciation for the Pokémon Franchise I really really really doubt that Nintendo will ever make a full recovery from their trial especially given the fact that they're losing for once.

Oh, and let's not forget that they straight up kill all emulators that they can while they straight up refuse to release all their games on their emulators which they force you to pay for.

Essentially, they played too much Russian Roulette with their company, and eventually they ran out of whatever kept their company fun and unique.

Yh after gen 5 everything sucks like sun and moon are pretty decent not that bad I rather play that than x/y that series pretty much held your hand throughout the game

To me Pokemon went downhill when the switch era came to be. I didn't have a problem with the 3ds era expect the national pokedex collecting.

this was a major problem since Sw/Sh..they cut out a lot on the National Dex,believing that Galar is a better region without any reference to Arceus.

this makes me think that they underappreciate the Switch...which I remind you, can even pull off a Xenoblade Chrronicles 2..that is a very big early title that has wildlife everywhere..so it's down to their ego..they're too famous to include loads of their own wildlife in an otherwise good representation to the UK.

You just reminded me that Marley is one of them, blegh. Regardless I thought people were mad because you couldn't use any Pokemon from the previous games due to no transfers. This was like 6 years ago I think

I haven't played Pokemon since gen 2, is it even the same game structure anymore? (8 gyms, encounter zones, overworld, battle screen, elite 4, ect.)
